Anyone that has visited Lake Oconee, knows The Silver Moon restaurant. What was the original and first local liquor store in the area turned into the now locals’ favorite restaurant. If it’s your first time visiting the hang out, don’t be confused by the lack of signage. Silver Moon has never had a street sign, and we don’t think they have plans to change that any time soon. Known for their fish and chips, creamy parmesan grits, homemade desserts and fun environment! You will not be greeted by a hostess stand, so do as the locals do and write your name on the chalk board!

Looking for a morning cup of coffee, healthy yet delicious lunch options, refreshing evening cocktail or a dessert to impress? Lalore Cafe will not disappoint. Serving cappuccinos, macchiatos, smoothies, espressos and if you're in the mood for something simple a delightful regular cup of coffee. I suggest you ask for whipped cream on top, it's the good stuff! The lunch and dinner menus include colorful salads, wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas and more. Did we mention the dressings are homemade. The bakery desserts are made by Lorena, the bakery chef and cafe owner. Lorena along with her husband Manny, the barista and bartender, have a passion for their business that's evident in their food, beverages and bakery! If you have not already, stop in Monday through Friday they are open for coffee at 9 a.m., serve lunch 11 to 3 p.m. and dinner 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
